Scientific fishing campaign
The Fish For Life project implementation team, coordinated by the IchtyofaunistIstvan Falka, conducted a scientific fishing campaign the Gilort River and its main tributaries (Galbenul, Ciocadia) during July 20-22. This is being done within the action of monitoring the conservation status of fish and macro-invertebrates populations. The campaign took placewithin Novaci, Balcesti, Bengesti-Ciocadia and Pociovaliste areas.

Echipa de implementare a proiectului a efectuat în perioada 12-13 martie 2018 o serie de întâlniri cu reprezentanți ai comunităților locale din arealul sitului Natura 2000 Râul Gilort. Reprezentanți ai Agenției pentru Protecția Mediului Gorj, Invisible Nature și ai Universității din București (CCMESI) au discutat cu autoritățile locale din Albeni, Bumbești – Pițic, Bengești – Ciocadia și Novaci, dar și cu reprezentanți ai comunităților locale (profesori, preoți etc.).
